Part-Time Engineering & Business Project Coordinator
15 hours per week | Based in Mitchell, ACT | Flexible hours
We are an early-stage engineering-focused venture developing a new product and scalable delivery model within the residential construction sector.
We are seeking a high-performing university engineering student to work directly with the directors to research, analyse and connect the moving parts of the business while the directors focus on execution.
This is not an administrative role.
It is an opportunity to help build an engineered product and structured business model from the ground up.

Some flexibility around university commitments is available, but we value in-person collaboration.
Who We’re Looking For
* ATAR / TER above 90 (preferred)
* Currently studying Engineering (Civil / Structural / Mechanical preferred)
* Strong academic performer
* Highly organised and structured thinker
* Clear written and verbal communicator
* Interested in both engineering and business models
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
This role suits someone who enjoys solving ambiguity and turning complexity into structure.
The Role
You will work directly with the directors to:
* Research technical and compliance pathways
* Coordinate with overseas manufacturing partners regarding documentation and specifications
* Assist with importation requirements and supplier communication
* Liaise with local installers and structural engineers
* Maintain structured compliance and QA records
* Track technical deliverables and testing programs
* Identify gaps, risks and unanswered questions
* Maintain a master action register
* Provide weekly structured updates
Your responsibility is to ensure the business maintains clarity and structure across engineering, supply chain and delivery while the directors focus on strategic growth.
You will not be micromanaged — you will be expected to think.
