The Role:
An experienced Site Manager is required to lead the construction of a premium, high-rise residential development in Main Beach on the Gold Coast. This role is suited to a hands-on construction professional with a strong background in luxury residential or high-end mixed-use projects, who takes pride in quality, safety, and programme delivery.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, coordinating trades and consultants, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements, and delivering the project to the highest standard of finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Full site management from structure through to completion and handover
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
* Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations
* Maintain a strong on-site presence and lead by example
* Implement and enforce WHS systems and site safety practices
* Manage site documentation including permits, inspections, SWMS, and quality records
* Liaise closely with Project Managers, consultants, engineers, and certifiers
* Monitor workmanship to ensure luxury finishes and detailing are achieved
* Identify and resolve construction issues proactively
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian Standards, NCC, and local authority requirements
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-rise residential projects
* Strong background in luxury or high-end residential construction
* Sound knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing, and finishes
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple trades in a fast-paced environment
* Solid understanding of WHS legislation and site safety management
Qualifications & Requirements
* Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Construction Management (preferred)
* Valid QBCC Site Supervisor licence (or ability to obtain)
* White Card
* Strong knowledge of local Gold Coast building regulations
