Job Overview
This role is responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance activities to maximise the life of Council's road and road related assets.
The key objectives of this position are to contribute to a positive work culture and play a key role in delivering the activities related to Council's periodic maintenance program including road shoulder vegetation spraying, hydro-jetting, sweeper, pit and pipe cleaning and minor stormwater asset maintenance.
About The Role
* The successful candidate will ensure work complies with Council's Road Management Plan and other infrastructure maintenance service levels.
* Assist members of the public with enquiries relating to maintenance operations.
* Pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of plant and equipment.
* Complete allocated work to an appropriate standard and procedure.
* Record activities undertaken, complete checks and traffic management via mobile phone.
* Traffic Management.
* Safe operation and maintenance of Council tools and equipment.
