We’re looking for a hands-on Service Manager who wants more than just a job — someone who wants to take ownership of a workshop, build a high-performing team, and drive real operational results.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a desk job — and it’s not for someone who wants to sit back and supervise.
You’ll take full ownership of our service department, leading from the front in a fast-paced environment with a diverse client base. From job flow and quoting to team leadership and process improvement, you’ll be at the centre of it all.
You’ll have the autonomy to improve systems, lift efficiency, and shape the way the workshop operates — with the backing of a growing business.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and apprentices
* Take ownership of workshop performance, productivity, and outcomes
* Manage job flow, scheduling, and competing priorities across multiple clients
* Quote jobs accurately and confidently (including hands-on involvement)
* Drive efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Build strong, long-term customer relationships
* Oversee invoicing, job tracking, and documentation accuracy
* Manage workshop assets, tools, vehicles, and parts inventory
ABOUT YOU
You’re not just a manager — you’re a leader who takes pride in running a tight, efficient operation.

You’ll bring:
* Trade qualification (electrical, mechanical, or fitting)
* Proven experience leading teams in a workshop or service environment
* A strong drive for efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement
* Confidence managing multiple jobs, clients, and priorities at once
* A hands-on approach — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
* Strong communication and customer management skills
* Solid admin and computer skills
Highly regarded: Experience with pumps or water equipment
