About the Role
Join our CGO team and play a hands‐on role in supporting mine survey activities across one of Australia's world‐class gold operations. As a Survey Technician, you'll work across multiple disciplines including open pit, civil works and drone‐based photogrammetry. Your days will be a mix of GNSS pickups, set‐outs, Boretrak surveys and aerial data capture using DJI drone technology, all while contributing to continuous improvement and accurate spatial data for our operations. You'll be part of a collaborative and growth‐minded team that values autonomy and supports progression.
About You
You're a motivated and detail‐driven survey professional who enjoys working outdoors and being close to the action. With at least one year of open pit or underground survey experience, you're comfortable using modern survey instruments, GNSS systems and digital processing tools, and you're keen to continue developing your technical capability. You communicate well with operators, engineers, geologists and other stakeholders, and you take pride in producing high‐quality, accurate work.
A manual driver's licence is required, while experience with DJI drones, Trimble GNSS equipment, PIX4D, Deswik or Surpac will help you hit the ground running.
