Overview
We are currently recruiting for full‐time psychiatrist at our client's Townsville Private Clinic. To start ASAP on a 12‐month employment contract, a brief description is below.
Remuneration
Remuneration: $500k p.aFull‐Time
Responsibilities
* Taking new and existing referrals for admission to inpatient, day program and community outreach.
* Completing 291 assessments.
* Undertaking weekly multidisciplinary reviews and second opinion reviews.
* Undertaking patient billable reviews.
* Clinically managing the required clinical patient load on a day‐to‐day basis in association with the multidisciplinary patient care team.
* Providing coverage for doctors' leave and working collaboratively with the team of consultant psychiatrists.
* Complying with all aspects of the bylaws and hospital policy, processes and compliance requirements, including administrative requirements around clinical documentation for the hospital and referrers.
* Undertaking or participating in second opinion reviews when required and working in partnership and collaboration with the onsite consultant psychiatrist.
* Conducting outpatient consultations undertaken as follow‐up sessions or for urgent admission review as required.
* Opportunity for rTMS services and training.
Fully supported private practice work can also be extended to consultants as an additional working option outside of contracted hours.
