About the role

Mercy Community Services is seeking a proactive Administration Assistant to support our Community Aged Care Team in Rockhampton on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

In this role, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for clients, staff, and visitors while providing administrative and reception support to ensure our services run smoothly.

Your role involves but not limited to:

- Work at front reception, check in clients and answer phone calls as required
- Accept and respond to telephone calls and reception enquiries including redirection or delivery of messages as appropriate
- Accurately reconcile and correctly code all daily invoices for approval and payment in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive record management including client records.

Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards

About you

- Relevant qualification in business administration or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated intermediate ability to use computer IT systems including MS Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skill
