At the forefront of oncology and haematology, we seek a seasoned professional to secure timely and sustainable access for our innovative treatments across Australia and New Zealand.
This role requires expertise in developing market access strategies, leading health technology assessments (HTA) submissions, and collaborating across internal and external stakeholders. As a strategic partner, you will operate with autonomy and serve as a key liaison across cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will drive successful product launches, support sustained reimbursement, and shape feasibility assessments. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead HTA submissions, including crafting compelling content that highlights quality, alignment, and delivery timelines.
* Serve as the market access lead on cross-functional teams, delivering reliable access and payer insights to inform business planning and strategy.
* Conduct reimbursement feasibility assessments for pipeline assets to support portfolio prioritisation and resource allocation.
* Coordinate and lead pricing activities across the product lifecycle for Australia and New Zealand.
* Manage the internal price approval process, including support in developing business cases and ensuring compliance with governance procedures and company SOPs.
* Monitor the evolving reimbursement landscape and contribute to stakeholder engagement activities that support access objectives.
* Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure local access insights inform evidence planning and access strategy.
* Support long-term planning and launch readiness through access-related forecasting and scenario planning.
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree is required, with a post-graduate degree or MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5 years of market access experience in HTA markets is necessary.
Essential skills include:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical market access or health economics, with a strong track record of leading successful HTA submissions.
* Tertiary qualification in Health Economics, Public Health, Science, Pharmacy, or a related field; postgraduate training strongly preferred.
* In-depth experience in oncology and/or haematology market access.
* Advanced capability in writing high-quality HTA submissions with clear value propositions.
* Strong understanding of PBS pricing, listing pathways, and list maintenance activities.
* Proficient in budget impact modelling and internal forecasting.
* Familiarity with economic evaluation, including cost-effectiveness models.
* Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in standard computer applications, with advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
