Our client specialises in providing professional concrete pumping services for residential, commercial and civil construction projects, supporting builders and contractors with the efficient and precise placement of concrete for foundations, slabs, footings and structural works. With a strong reputation for reliability, safety and quality workmanship, the company services a wide range of construction projects across the region using specialized pumping equipment and experienced operators.
Position – Concrete Pump Operator
Location – Kialla, Victoria. This role requires travel to construction sites across the Goulburn Valley and surrounding regional and remote areas of Victoria.
Salary - $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

THE ROLE:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Concrete Pump Operator to join a reputable and growing construction services business, working on a variety of residential, commercial and civil projects across the Goulburn Valley region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Operate truck-mounted concrete pumping equipment to safely transfer and place concrete at construction sites, including slabs, footings, columns and elevated structures.
· Set up and stabilize pumping equipment on site, ensuring outriggers and safety systems are correctly positioned before operation.
· Conduct pre-operational safety and equipment checks to ensure pumps, hydraulic systems and associated components are functioning correctly.
· Control the boom arm and regulate pumping pressure and flow rates to ensure accurate and efficient concrete placement.
· Monitor pumping operations to prevent blockages, maintain consistent flow and ensure safe delivery of concrete to designated areas.
· Work collaboratively with concreters, truck drivers, supervisors and site managers to coordinate concrete pours and site activities.
· Clean, flush and maintain pumping equipment after use to prevent concrete build-up and ensure equipment longevity.
· Carry out routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to pumps and associated equipment.
· Comply with workplace health and safety requirements and follow site safety procedures at all times.
· Maintain accurate records of pumping activities and represent the company professionally on all job sites.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· Relevant qualification, such as a Certificate II or III in Civil Construction or a related field (or agreed equivalent).
· Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator of at least 3 years (preferably more) operating concrete line pumps.
· Understanding of concrete properties and pump mechanics, with experience in basic maintenance and troubleshooting of concrete pumping equipment.
· Ability to work in physically demanding environments in remote and regional areas and manage equipment set-up.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instruction on busy construction sites.
· Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to WHS standards.
· High Risk Work Licence – PB (Concrete Placement Boom) is ESSENTIAL.
· HR Licence is ESSENTIAL.
· You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
