In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the medical administration and front desk duties for our busy practice located in Charters Towers, QLD.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our medical centre.What you'll be doingGreeting patients, booking appointments, and managing patient inquiries in a friendly and professional mannerPerforming medical billing, processing payments, and maintaining electronic patient recordsCoordinating and scheduling appointments, procedures, and referralsAssisting with the management of medical supplies and inventoryProviding administrative support to the medical team as requiredMaintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient informationOrganizing and managing staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operationKeeping the reception team updated with any changes in schedules or proceduresWhat we're looking forMinimum of 3 years' experience in a medical receptionist or similar administrative roleStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders effectivelyExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressureProficient in using medical practice management software and electronic health record systemsDemonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality customer serviceKnowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry regulations and proceduresWhat we offerAt Gold City Medical Centre, we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that values our employees.
