About the Role
Metro Joinery is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Cabinet Maker / Wood Machinist. Based in Regency Park, this full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on training and skill development in cabinet making and joinery. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople to produce high-quality, custom joinery and furniture for our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders to prepare and shape timber components
* Assemble cabinets, countertops, and other joinery products according to design specifications
* Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
* Conduct quality control checks to ensure all finished products meet company standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
* Assist senior tradespeople with various tasks and projects as needed
