An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Midvale team in this newly created position. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the newly appointed Spare Parts Sales Coordinator will be primarily responsible for capturing, entering and coordinating accurate sales production specifications to support the logistics and production functions in meeting customer expectations.
Additional tasks for the role are as outlined below but not limited to:
- Ensuring complete customer satisfaction is achieved relating to Parts Sales and enquiries and all information is captured in D365. Ensuring the necessary and required paperwork is completed in full.
- Support the Production & Operations Support Supervisor and production personnel in planning and scheduling workflow for each operation according to manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Assist the Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily activities undertaken by Warehouse team, and any casual labour hire employees in storage related roles to ensure understanding of requirements related to their position.
- Liaise with management and sales team to determine sales forecasts and future production supply needs.
- Support sales team with recognising and promoting upselling opportunities.
- Build and maintain a high degree of cooperation, understanding and synergy across the group.
- Ensure compliance to Normet Standards when presentations & quoting.
- Ensure business reporting is completed on time and in-full.
- Experience in a logistics environment, preferably with a heavy machinery focus.
- Mechanical/technical aptitude.
The successful applicant must be able to display the following characteristics:
- Competent in processing of Purchase and Sales orders.
- Previous experience using Microsoft D365.
- Ability to act in a promptly to ensure work is being completed effectively, efficiently and within a timely manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High-level of organisation and planning skills.
- Ability to manage highly agile and changing work environments.
