The Role
As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will ideally have a passion for working with students and have highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills. You will work across a range of classrooms, supporting teachers under direction to deliver planned education programmes, operate digital technologies, implement individual or small group programmes, provide valuable feedback to support student learning, assist with care and supervision of students in out-of-class activities, on school excursions and help prepare the learning environment by maintaining equipment and resources. Knowledge of the Letter and Sounds, Talk for Write, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness and Origo Mathematics programs would be highly desirable.
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant teaching/learning qualification highly desirable.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability and initiative, with a commitment to continuous improvement and supporting students' diverse needs.
Experience with classroom support or related roles preferred.
