Our client is one of Australia’s most iconic amusement parks, welcoming visitors of all ages to enjoy world-class rides, entertainment, and events in a spectacular harbourside setting. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive IT Team Leader to manage and support our growing IT infrastructure and digital systems. About the Role As the IT Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the park’s IT systems, infrastructure, and team. This hands-on leadership role ensures the smooth operation of critical business systems, point-of-sale (POS) technology, ticketing platforms, networks, and user support across the park. Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead the internal IT team and manage external service providers where necessary Maintain and support the park’s IT infrastructure including servers, networks, software, and hardware Oversee POS and ticketing system functionality, troubleshooting, and performance Provide technical support and training to staff across various departments Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place and regularly reviewed Monitor system performance and ensure uptime across operational platforms Implement IT policies, procedures, and documentation to support business continuity and security Manage IT budgets, software licensing, and procurement of equipment Assist with IT projects including upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives Maintain regular communication with senior management and report on IT performance and risks Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy legislation Skills & Experience Strong technical knowledge of networks, Windows servers, cloud platforms, and IT security Experience with POS systems, ticketing platforms, and hospitality/event-based technology preferred Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and project management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise across departments Flexibility to work across weekends, public holidays, or evenings as required during major events or upgrades Permanent full time role with a starting salary of $80K - $95K Salary (plus super).
