CELOTTI Workforce is seeking a senior, hands-on finance leader to own our back-office and corporate services function. This role is central to keeping the business running smoothly, with responsibility across payroll, finance operations, reporting and group shared services.
About CELOTTI Workforce
CELOTTI Workforce is a national labour hire and recruitment group, with additional group businesses including a newly established Singapore entity.
We've recently appointed a new CEO and are continuing to mature our shared-services model across the group. As part of this next phase, we're looking for a senior, practical finance leader who can provide strong control, clear reporting and dependable leadership across the back office.
The Role
This is a central role within the business.
You'll lead the finance and corporate services function, ensuring payroll, cash flow, compliance, reporting and key corporate services are well controlled and predictable. You'll be the single senior point of accountability for these functions and work closely with the CEO and group leaders to support effective decision-making.
The role is hands-on where required, but primarily focused on ownership, structure and control rather than doing everything personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Operations & Control
End-to-end ownership of payroll integrity in a multi-region labour hire environment
Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing
Cashflow visibility, short-term forecasting and expenditure control
Oversight of invoice finance and funding arrangements
Bank reconciliations and balance-sheet discipline
Ownership of month-end and end-of-year close processes
Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting
Coordinate the annual budgeting process across CELOTTI Workforce and group entities
Work with group business leaders to gather inputs and ensure budgets are practical and understood
Maintain rolling forecasts and update them as trading conditions change
Prepare clear internal management reporting, including budget vs actual commentary
Ensure reporting is timely, accurate and useful for management and the Board
Corporate & Shared Services
Lead and develop the back-office team (payroll, AR, AP)
Act as owner of shared services across group entities, including Singapore
Set clear workflows, priorities and accountability
Build documented, resilient finance and corporate services processes
Insurance, Procurement & Asset Management
Own the group's insurance program, including renewals, data collation and claims coordination
Act as the primary liaison with insurance brokers and advisors
Establish and maintain procurement policies, approval thresholds and preferred supplier frameworks
Provide visibility and discipline over key supplier spend
Maintain accurate asset registers (vehicles, equipment, IT and other insured assets)
Coordinate asset acquisition, disposal and renewal processes
Ensure alignment between assets, insurance coverage, depreciation and reporting
This component of the role focuses on oversight and control, not day-to-day purchasing or administration.
Compliance & External Relationships
Coordinate BAS, payroll tax, superannuation, WorkCover and ATO obligations
Liaise with external accountants, financiers, insurers and advisors
Ensure compliance requirements are met without disruption to operations
About You
You're likely a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Corporate Services Manager who:
Has strong experience in payroll-heavy or operational businesses
Is comfortable leading a small finance and back-office team
Can partner effectively with non-finance leaders
Is calm and organised
Takes pride in running a tight, dependable function
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related discipline
CPA/CA preferred but not essential
Strong experience across finance operations, reporting and compliance
Solid systems and process mindset
