Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a researcher with expertise in developing innovative methods for provable network security.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of network security technologies using higher-order graph-based abstractions.
A key aspect of this role is the development of scalable algorithms to model networks and network security problems, as well as generating, checking, verifying and correcting network/device configurations for correctness and security issues.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for predicting and planning security countermeasures using the same framework.
In addition, the individual will assist in dissemination across multiple related projects through project deliverables, publications, etc.
Collaboration with co-investigators across multiple schools within SET on theoretical and algorithm development and implementation is also expected.
Requirements for the position include a PhD in related fields or equivalent experience.
Eligibility to hold a Commonwealth of Australia Department of Defence security clearance is also required.
Additionally, the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional and collegial manner is essential.
