You will strive to ensure operational delivery is faultless across the region and ensure the team's implementation is of the highest standard for our clients. You will ensure the profitability of our South APAC business through building and nurturing client relationships across the sporting spectrum. Key Responsibilities: Operations:Acting as General Manager across South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. .Create an environment that enables our people and technologies to succeed, championing the Hawk-Eye GuaranteeWork with the SMT to identify and implement the strategic direction of all managed servicesContinually review the operational model, striking the right balance between efficiency, client satisfaction, operational excellence and profitabilityFully understand the contractual agreements and SLAs with clients, and ensure that they are delivered in fullEnsure the teams are equipped and capable of delivering on all contractual agreements and expectations from clientsWork with the PMO to implement projects, ensuring that new and improved technologies are delivered successfullyEnsure resource levels are appropriate for future growth, and utilise the current and regional resource strategicallyFind new ways of working that give us operational efficiencies, including the use of technologyManage any issues arising from operations and proactively minimise their effect on the client and the team, briefing senior management where appropriateMaintain a solid understanding of the core technology to ensure it's delivered most effectively across the regionWork with the product team to identify areas for improvements in the development of the technology, as well as input into ideation sessionsWorking with the hardware/R&D function to build in operational insights to create the most effective hardware solutionsStrategic Growth & Business Planning:Identify, pursue and drive the medium and long term growth across the regionTake full accountability to deliver on the strategy, including annual budget, and where possible, drive to exceed itFully accountable for the profitability of S.APAC including revenue, GP, and OPAnalyse operational models, commercials and profitability of each of the existing contracts and new opportunitiesWork with the commercial team for the development of business opportunities across S.APAC for Hawk-Eye Innovations, and the wider Sony Sports businessCollaborate with commercial teams to deliver major pitches in each region using a clearly aligned business case and brand positioningUnderstand new and existing customers' strategies to develop solutions to meet each sports strategic needsFind new applications for existing technologies across all sports, and potentially other sectors and industriesWork with the Innovations Team to seek, build and deliver on new business ideas across all sports and products within S.APAC, support innovation and ideationClient Relationships:Manage major client relationships within S.APACBuild the reputation of Hawk-Eye, Pulselive and SonyWork with the commercial function to bring all contracts to point of closureSupport the brand to be the number one provider in the region to 'all' technology in sportLeadership:Build successful and productive relationships with teams in the regions, including functions within HQContinue to build an inspiring team environment with an open communication cultureWhere suitable, delegate responsibilities and support the work of the teams, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performanceEmpower team members with the skills to advance their careers, supporting professional and personal developmentConduct regular performance reviews to support staff developmentWork with the HRBP to build and implement people strategy fit for our future business.Work with HRBP to ensure talent management and talent development programmes are in placeCare for the health, safety and welfare of your people Your Skills, Knowledge & Expertise: An excellent track record in a senior leadership roleSuperior knowledge of diverse business functions and principlesExcellent organisation and leadership abilitiesOutstanding communication and people skills, embracing our values and cultureProven ability to plan and manage complex operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivityExperience in managing at scale with a large operational headcountAbility to streamline and implement new structures that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demandsExperience of working across a global business within multicultural working environment, preferably including APACAt Hawk-Eye Innovations, we appreciate and value the importance of potential and growth.
