Description:
Key Accountabilities:
* Managing the general wellbeing of the dogs by feeding, watering, toileting, bathing, and grooming dogs.
* Ensuring the safe transportation of dogs to puppy raisers, trainers, clients, GDMI’s, and PDA’s.
* Assisting with veterinary care of dogs through the management and implementation of health treatment plans.
* Implementing dog handling techniques and supervising the general behavior of kennelled dogs, including noise prevention.
* Maintaining accurate health records of individual dogs while boarding in the kennels.
* Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of all kennel areas and equipment as per policies and procedures.
* Promoting a positive and calm kennel environment to ensure the dogs are quiet and relaxed.
Essential Experience:
* Experience in kennel management, demonstrating good dog handling skills, and effective leadership and control over dogs.
* Ability to competently handle dogs of all ages and training levels.
* Enthusiasm, energy, and a high level of initiative, with the ability to work under direction.
* Holding a driver’s license recognized in NSW to transport dogs.
