Maintenance Fitter
About our role:Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, we are looking for mechanical fitters - across a variety of shifts. You will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance across the site.Including the servicing and repair of bulk storage, production, processing, blow molding and packaging areas, covering the entire manufacturing process and all main facilities associated with a major dairy manufacturing site.Responsibilities include:This position is responsible for performing mechanical work to ensure all plant remains in good working order.Ensuring mechanical maintenance functions including breakdown, preventative and project works are completed efficiently whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements.Partake in Preventative Maintenance program in order to achieve world class machine and line efficiency.Investigate failures and provide recommendation of improvements to reduce the risk of occurrence.Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions in order to promote efficiency.Complete all documentation to meet compliance and operational standardsAbout you:You obtain a relevant tertiary level qualification;minimum Trade certificate as a Mechanical FitterExperiencetroubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsKnowledge of GMP within the FMCG fieldWorking knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office desirableOur story:Ours is aSTORYof a family business created by the Besnier Family in 1933 and is today the worlds’ No. 1 dairy company.
