Caravan Park Maintenance Person
Capital Country Holiday Park is one of Canberra's leading resort and holiday parks located at Sutton on the border of New South Wales and ACT. It has an opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our grounds and maintenance team.
Weekday and occasional weekend work of approximately 38 hours per week will be available on a permanent basis.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure that the amenities, grounds, walkways and gardens are cleaned and maintained at all times, including but not limited to;
* Lawn mowing
* Weeding
* Pruning
* Performing varied and wide range of repair and maintenance tasks throughout the Caravan Park with minimal supervision and with diligence
* Undertaking general repairs, patching & painting, plumbing, carpentry and preventative maintenance throughout the Caravan Park
* Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed
Your Skills and Experience
* Strong experience in a similar position with a building or trade skill relevant to role is highly desirable.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal; and
* Demonstrated initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
* Clean driving license
