Key Responsibilities
* Perform general mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on a variety of vehicles
* Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other essential components
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
* Conduct road tests and ensure all vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards
* Replace or repair worn and defective parts with precision and care
* Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
* Ensure all work complies with occupational health and safety regulations
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, well-organised workshop
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment
* Sound understanding of workplace safety and quality standards
* Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
