As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting a strong safety culture on-site. You will work closely with project teams to drive a safe and healthy working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure Compliance and Training: Stay up-to-date with all relevant policies, procedures, and compliance training.
* Enhance Site Health and Safety: Mentor site personnel to improve safety standards and conduct site inspections.
* Support Project Management: Assist project managers in developing and maintaining safety systems and procedures.
* Investigate Incidents and Provide Corrective Actions: Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents.
* Promote a Strong Safety Culture: Foster a transparent and proactive safety culture on-site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Relevant Work Experience: Proven experience in safety coordination or a related field is essential.
2. Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety) is desirable.
3. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are required.
