We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to step into a newly created, high-impact role driving our internal narrative and external reputation.
The Role
6 Month Contract – Opportunity to extend.
As our Communications lead, you will be the voice of our business. This dual‐focus role involves leading the communications strategy for our business, overseeing internal and external communications, and managing the marketing efforts for our prestigious Duty‐Free division across six airports. You will act as a bridge between head office support staff, the executive team, airport partners, and our 2,000+ store team members across Australia and New Zealand.
What You'll Do
* Develop and execute bespoke marketing activity for our Duty Free and Luxury pillars, ensuring a premium brand voice that aligns with global standards.
* Manage high‐level communications with airport partners, including preparation of media releases and industry announcements.
* Take full ownership of the corporate website and LinkedIn presence, ensuring our digital footprint reflects our position as an industry innovator.
* Lead company‐wide updates to foster engagement across a diverse, dispersed workforce.
* Drive Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives as part of the global PEPS programme, ensuring commitment to the planet and people.
* Serve as a strategic writer and advisor to the CEO and COO, crafting executive‐level presentations, keynote speeches, and board reports.
What We're Looking For
* Mid‐to‐senior professional with 5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or strategic marketing.
* Proven track record in a fast‐paced retail or travel environment highly desirable.
* Ability to advise senior leadership and manage complex relationships with external partners.
* Agility to pivot from writing a high‐level corporate presentation to managing a viral media event without missing a beat.
* Detail‐oriented with a perfectionist's eye for tone, brand consistency, and visual presentation.
