Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the GM – People & Culture, you’ll be the key HR contact across our QLD sites. Located in our Darra branch, drive operational excellence and aligning HR strategies with business goals. You will provide expert advice and hands-on support across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, onboarding, safety, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide timely and effective HR advice to management and employees
* Lead and resolve employee relations matters including grievances and investigations
* Interpret awards and industrial instruments, ensuring compliance across the business
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning activities
* Partner with managers to deliver performance management and development initiatives
* Drive employee engagement, WHS practices, and compliance with RIPPA values
* Coordinate remuneration reviews and benchmarking processes
* Maintain HRIS accuracy and personnel records
* Support the rollout of national HR systems and initiatives
* Travel regularly between Emerald, Rockhampton, and Mackay
What We’re Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a comparable industry
* Strong understanding of employment law, awards, and WHS legislation
* Proven experience handling complex employee relations and investigations
* High-level written and verbal communication skills
* Confident in using HRIS and data to drive decisions
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for helping people and businesses thrive
* Ability to travel regularly across multiple sites
