About the role
Our Host Employer is a South Australian family‐owned company who, over the past 41 years, have experienced progressive growth to meet the needs of their customers and the steel fabrication industry, becoming a market leader when it comes to technology and fabrication economics. As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will learn how to work with heavy structural steel in a workshop environment, developing skills in fabrication, welding and assembly.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Measure and mark out materials
* Assist with preparation and fabrication of large steel components
* Gain hands‐on experience with welding, grinding, cutting and fitting
* Support qualified tradespeople during fabrication processes
* Use a range of tools and workshop machinery
* Learn and apply safe operating practices

Monday to Friday 6.00am – 2.30pm with regular RDO's

About you
* Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
* Minimum completion of Year 12 High School
* Driver's License and reliable transport essential
* You will have basic welding experience, with good hand/eye coordination in a practical setting
