The Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured month-end work, digging into complex reconciliations and contributing to the planning and performance cycles of the business.
You'll play a central role in delivering timely financial outcomes and supporting leaders with meaningful analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead month-end processes, general ledger integrity and reconciliations
Prepare management reports with clear, actionable commentary
Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including travel to operational sites during the planning period
Analyse financial performance, trends and cost drivers
Maintain and improve financial models, KPI dashboards and benchmarking tools
Conduct analysis to support decision-making and operational discussions
Assist with compliance, valuations, reconciliations and process enhancement
Strengthen reporting accuracy and partner with stakeholders to improve financial understanding
About You
You're an analytical, detail-oriented accountant who enjoys accuracy, structure and partnering across different parts of a business.
You're confident managing critical month-end activities and curious enough to dive into data to understand what's driving performance.
You'll bring:
Strong month-end experience and solid financial accounting capability
High attention to detail and confidence handling complex reconciliations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret varied data sources
CA/CPA qualified or progressing
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A process-improvement mindset and eagerness to develop technically
Ability to travel intermittently during budgeting/planning periods
