Fortescue's Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people. We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the Wet Plant at Iron Bridge as a Process Operator. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive team committed to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor wet or dry plant processing equipment safely and efficiently
* Follow Standard Work Instructions to ensure consistent performance
* Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
* Provide clear and thorough shift handovers and maintain daily reports/logs
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance
* Identify and mitigate hazards promptly to maintain a safe work environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience operating large-scale wet or dry processing plants (mining experience highly regarded)
* Strong safety focus and ability to conduct risk assessments
* Previous exposure to control room operations is advantageous
* Mobile plant operation experience (Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Overhead Crane, Telehandler) desirable
* Excellent communication skills, including effective two-way radio communication
* A valid C Class Driver's Licence
