Job Description
The Financial Controller position will play a key leadership role and act as a critical 2IC to the CFO. Based on site with minimal travel, the core remit of the role includes:
* Oversee and ensure the delivery of consolidated accounts
* Ensure timely and accurate tax preparation
* Consolidate end-of-month financial and management reports, including presentation to the SLT
* Lead budget preparation and forecasting.
* Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
* Supervise and provide strategic direction for the global finance teams.
* Oversee yearly audit and liaise with external auditors
* Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting, and operational efficiency.
* Support the upcoming ERP implementation ensuring continuity of delivery
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller position will be a driven finance professional who takes pride in the quality of their work and meaningful contribution. Your key experience and background should include:
* CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical grounding gained in practice
* Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
* Experience with ERP's, with past exposure to migrations a plus
* Ability to manage and support a team spread across multiple locations
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
* Managing tax submissions and preparing financial statements for audit.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
