We are seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. This hands-on role blends exceptional guest service with strong leadership, training, and mentoring of our front-of-house team to deliver seamless, memorable dining experiences.

Your Role
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure smooth daily operations, maintain service excellence, and lead by example on the restaurant floor. You'll be responsible for motivating the team, driving performance, and supporting management to achieve operational goals while upholding Hamilton Island's premium hospitality standards.
Where you'll make an impact
* Lead, guide, and support the FOH team during service to deliver exceptional guest experiences
* Engage confidently with guests, providing professional recommendations and warm, personable service
* Assist in training, mentoring, and performance development of staff
* Support the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations and team coordination
* Perform opening and closing procedures, including cashiering and reporting duties
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Handle guest enquiries and feedback with professionalism and efficiency
* Contribute to maintaining a positive, motivated, and collaborative team culture

To be successful, you'll need
* Previous supervisory experience in a premium or high-volume restaurant
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Confidence engaging with guests and providing informed menu recommendations
* Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate – Essential
* Driver's Licence – Desirable
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
* A proactive approach and passion for hospitality excellence
