We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced IT Manager to lead our technology function across both sites and help shape our digital future.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Manager to oversee and manage our entire IT infrastructure and systems. You will play a key role in ensuring our technology supports day-to-day operations, enhances resident care, and meets compliance and security requirements. This is a strategic and operational role, ideal for someone with strong leadership, vendor management, and technical support capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Management
•Oversee networks, servers, databases, and system performance across both sites
•Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with compliance standards
•Lead system upgrades, installations, and hardware/software deployments
•Maintain warranties, licenses, and vendor contracts
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
•Implement robust cybersecurity frameworks
•Ensure compliance with Privacy Act and Aged Care Quality Standards
•Manage backup and disaster recovery systems
•Monitor access logs and system activities for risk management
IT Support & Troubleshooting
•Provide efficient technical support to staff
•Oversee helpdesk operations and ticket resolution
•Deliver staff training on IT use and cyber safety
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
•Manage IT vendors and service contracts
•Ensure SLAs are met and align IT strategies with business goals
•Lead IT project management and new system implementation
Strategic IT Planning & Innovation
•Develop IT strategies that improve operational and care outcomes
•Research and evaluate emerging technologies
•Advise management on tech solutions aligned with organizational goals
About You
Essential Criteria
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT management (aged care or healthcare experience preferred)
•Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity
•Strong background in technical support and system troubleshooting
•Hands-on experience with data centers, data governance, and IT project delivery
•Ability to manage multiple sites and liaise with diverse teams
•Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
•Familiarity with aged care or health sector technologies
•Practical problem-solving and analytical skills
•Understanding of business systems and applications
•High integrity, respect for confidentiality, and a positive, compassionate attitude
