About the Role As a Software Developer in BDO’s AI Labs, you’ll help build and maintain AI‑driven applications that support our transformation strategy. This opportunity suits early to mid‑career developers (aligned to SFIA Level 3–4) who enjoy solving real problems, contributing to agile delivery, and growing through mentorship and exposure to enterprise Microsoft technologies. About the Team AI Labs is a collaborative, experimental environment where developers work alongside technical leads, data scientists and business analysts to design, test and scale solutions with measurable impact. You’ll be supported to learn, share knowledge and promote AI literacy across the firm—helping teams work smarter and “shape what matters.” Key Responsibilities Assist in building AI and automation solutions using Microsoft technologies (with guidance). Support the AI/ML lifecycle (data preparation, model integration) and maintain secure, reliable applications. Contribute to sandbox environments for experimentation and learning. Participate in Agile ceremonies; support CI/CD pipelines and smooth deployments. Maintain documentation and update Azure DevOps tickets/work items to reflect progress. Engage stakeholders by gathering feedback and understanding user needs; support citizen developers and adoption measurement. Qualifications, Sills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related). 2 years’ experience in software development or technical support. Microsoft ecosystem exposure: Power Platform, Copilot, Office 365 integration; Azure Functions/Logic Apps/Cognitive Services. Web skills: React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Node.js, PowerFx; data familiarity (Azure Data Platform, Storage Tables). DevOps & Agile: Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD; strong communication and problem‑solving. Responsible AI awareness (security, ethics, compliance); professional services experience desirable Why BDO?
