We're looking for a proactive SHEQ Advisor to join our high-performing team supporting the HCC Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Project in New South Wales.

The Role Reporting to the SHEQ National Manager, this role will champion all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) on the HCC REZ Project.
You will provide practical, site-based leadership, drive a "Think Safe. Work Safe. Home Safe." culture and play a crucial part in maintaining compliance and continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct site audits and inspections for internal crews and subcontractors Develop and maintain SWMS, SHE Management Plans, and Risk Registers Lead and support incident investigations (ICAM) Monitor and report on SHEQ performance using MYOSH Support training systems, including induction and records management Engage and influence stakeholders on SHEQ best practices Participate in contractor evaluation and onboarding Facilitate toolbox talks, safety observations, and daily pre-starts What You'll Bring Certificate IV in WHS/OHS 3+ years of experience in a SHEQ/WHS advisory role Strong understanding of WHS legislation, ISO standards, and compliance practices ICAM Lead Investigator training White Card, First Aid CPR certification Valid "C" Class Driver's Licence National Police Clearance Desirable: Certificate IV in Training Assessment Background in utilities or infrastructure projects Drug Alcohol Testing certification Experience using MYOSH and other compliance systems What We Offer Competitive remuneration package Exposure to high-profile infrastructure projects Clear career development pathways and training opportunities Inclusive workplace culture with a commitment to safety and wellbeing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) access We value diversity.
