We are seeking a skilled Clinical Midwife to join our Private Postnatal Care Wards team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional midwifery care to patients and their families.
As a Clinical Midwife, you will have the opportunity to work with a high volume of normal and complex care cases, utilizing your extensive experience and skills to adapt easily to the requirements of this post-natal ward.
Your key responsibilities will include providing clinical leadership, advanced professional expertise, and mentoring staff members to ensure they receive the best possible care. You will also assist and support the Midwifery Unit Manager with the preparation of clinical and safety improvement audits.
Key Requirements
* A current registration with AHPRA with midwifery endorsement (no restrictions)
* At least two years post-graduate experience for Registered Midwives, preferably within a postnatal unit
* Demonstrated high levels of communication (both written and verbal) and clinical problem-solving skills
* Evidence of continuing educational and professional development, preferably post-graduate qualifications
* Commitment to the continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
* Ability to work in a team environment including the larger multidisciplinary team
