Responsibilities:
Support care and educate a group of children and work within a strong and passionate team, providing guidance and support in daily activities and curriculum implementation.
Foster a warm and supportive workplace where children can explore, learn, and develop social and emotional skills.
Develop and implement age-appropriate learning activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
Ensure compliance with EYLF, NQS, and all regulatory standards
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, milestones, and daily activities, utilizing our documentation protocols effectively.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity between home and the centre, providing regular updates and feedback.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in an educator role within an early childhood education setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and inspire a team.
A deep understanding of child development principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in documenting children's learning experiences and developmental accomplishments.
A passion for creating engaging and educational activities that promote learning through play.
Minimum Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification required.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
A valid Working with Children Check must be obtained before commencing employment.
