What you'll do

As our Clinical Nurse Educator, you'll play a key role in supporting and developing our nursing workforce across Timboon and District Healthcare Service (TDHS). You'll collaborate with staff and stakeholders to enhance clinical skills, capability, and engagement, ensuring our teams deliver safe, high‑quality care. This role involves delivering clinical education and training through workshops, study days, simulation scenarios, and online modules for staff and students. You'll evaluate clinical skills and conduct competency assessments in line with organisational standards, support clinical programmes such as the Graduate Nurse Programme and Certificate III in Individual Support, and work closely with managers to develop and maintain the clinical skills of their teams.

About you

You are an experienced and motivated nurse with a tertiary qualification and current AHPRA registration. With strong leadership skills and a passion for education, you thrive on developing others and supporting professional growth. You bring excellent communication, organisational, and change management skills, with a solid understanding of National and Aged Care Standards. Confident, innovative, and self‑directed, you enjoy working in a team environment and fostering a positive workplace culture. Proficiency in programmes such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PlaceRight is highly desirable.
