Aztech Fire Protection is a family owned & operated company based in Loganholme. Aztech Fire specializes in Dry Fire Protection, we carry out the installation, inspection, testing and maintenance of buildings, emergency lighting, fire alarm & other essential service requirements including the servicing of portable fire equipment. We service Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast regions.
We are currently seeking an experienced QBCC licence Fire Alarms Technician, immediate start date of the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have experience as a fire alarm technician, in addition qualification in addition Emergency and Exit Lighting (desirable)
Qualifications & Experience:
· Must hold a QBCC licence in fire protection, electrical stream – install & maintain – fire alarm system.
· QBCC licence in fire protection electrical, inspect and test emergency lighting (desirable)
· Valid manual Drivers Licence
· Minimum one year' experience
· Good working knowledge of the Australian standards
· Experience with computer programs and/ or willingness to learn
Duties include:
· Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of fire alarm systems and associated equipment
· Diagnose and rectify faults, replacing parts as necessary to restore systems to full operational capacity
· Liaise with clients to provide updates on maintenance activities and address any concerns
· Support the development of maintenance programs and procedures to drive continuous improvement
· Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work undertaken
· Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
· Carry out routine testing of the Emergency and Exit lighting (where required)
· Installation of Fire Detection and Alarm Equipment
