About This Role
This is a standout opportunity to take full ownership of a flagship, multi-storey social housing development with a highly respected Tier 2 builder known for delivering complex, design-driven projects across the government and institutional sectors. You'll be stepping into a well-resourced job with strong systems, a very capable delivery team and a business that genuinely backs its Site Managers. This isn't a role where you're fighting upstream, you'll have the structure, support, and autonomy to run your site properly and deliver it to a high standard.
You will lead the site from early works through to completion, driving programme, managing subcontractors, and setting the tone on safety, quality, and culture. This is a high-impact role on a project that matters, delivering critical housing outcomes for the community.
What You'll Be Doing
* Full site ownership on a major social housing build
* Driving programme and sequencing to keep the job ahead of schedule
* Leading and mentoring Foremen and site teams
* Managing subcontractors to ensure productivity and accountability
* Maintaining high safety standards without compromising delivery
* Working closely with a strong PM and CA team who understand construction
Requirements
* Proven Senior Site Manager experience on $30m+ builds
* Strong background in multi-residential, social housing, or complex commercial projects
* A leader who can drive trades, hold standards, and build a strong site culture
* Solid understanding of programme, sequencing, and buildability
* Someone who takes ownership and prides themselves on delivery
