Job Title: Pipeline Operator
We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Operator with a mechanical background to support the operation and maintenance of gas facilities and pipelines. The successful candidate will have a Mechanical trade qualification (desirable) with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team in the gas transmission or gas processing industry.
About the Role:
The role involves working primarily at our Longford compressor station, as well as across various sites along the pipeline network. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll contribute to the operation, upkeep, and optimisation of state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring the safe and reliable performance of the pipeline and easement.
* Responding to incidents and emergencies
* Operation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipment
* Assist the team across all trade disciplines
* Maintenance of valves and other mechanical equipment
* Patrol and maintenance of the pipeline right of way
* Liaison work with landholders and public authorities
* A wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation and records maintenance
About You:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrated Mechanical Fitter experience
* High pressure gas experience
* Centrifugal compressor operation and maintenance
* Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
