The Senior Registrar position will be best suited to a level 5 or 6 trainee with preference given to those who have passed the Fellowship exams. The role involves after-hours cover, teaching, and supervision of junior trainees, primarily attached to the Gynaecologic Oncology service.
This position is particularly suited to a Trainee in their elective years who wishes to consolidate their surgical skills prior to entering specialist practice or subspecialist training. Experience will be gained in open and laparoscopic pelvic surgery and the care of women with complex surgical and medical conditions.
