Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) Full-time (100%), fixed-term position for up to 2 years Base salary will be in the range $93,491.78 - $100,296.97 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6) Based at our St Lucia Campus About This Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Engineer (Software/DevOps) to work closely with our team to develop platforms and frameworks for scientific applications deployment, advanced interactive analysis and data capture and movement. This position will be responsible for developing and enhancing the Neurodesk.org, Sciget.org and Australian Imaging Service platforms. Work will include enabling Kubernetes deployments, developing GitOps solutions, the integration of different storage endpoints using the Container Storage Interfaces, implementing efficient monitoring of the various deployments using Grafana and Prometheus and the autoscaling of compute nodes for CPU and GPU workloads across various cloud providers.
