Broome Golf Club is seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join its high-performing kitchen team.
The Club's Bar & Restaurant operates seven days a week for lunch and dinner, offering a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment.
This full-time role provides the opportunity to support the Head Chef in leading the day-to-day kitchen operations.The RoleAssist the Head Chef with menu planning, recipe development, and food cost managementOversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure high standards in food preparation and presentationEnsure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulationsFoster a positive and productive team cultureCollaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver smooth service and customer satisfactionCandidate RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to:Have 2–3 years' experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar rolePossess strong culinary skills and a sound understanding of food preparation techniquesBe knowledgeable in food safety, kitchen operations, and cost controlDemonstrate excellent communication and customer service skillsBe capable of leading, motivating, and developing a positive teamThrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAdditional InfoSalary range is $73,000 – $80,000 per year.
