Mater Private Hospital Townsville is inviting expressions of interest from experienced Registered Nurses who are ready to take the next step in their career by transitioning into a Clinical Nurse role within our Cardiac Cath Lab department. This is a part-time position (24 hours per week), perfect for those looking to advance their career while maintaining work-life balance. At MPHT, you'll be part of a dynamic team in a cutting-edge environment. Our facilities including a Brand-new, state-of-the-art theatre, specialist catheterization laboratory, Dedicated onsite day surgery facilities and innovative robotic surgery technology featuring the da Vinci Surgical System
Salary range: $ $58.30 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits
What you'll be doing
As a trained Scrub/Scout Nurse with proven experience in a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory unit, you will have a strong work ethic, self-motivation and be able to adapt quickly to changing environments as we work together to deliver first class services. Alongside your caring and engaging manner, you will have a positive attitude and strong communication skills allowing you to engage with our patients and their families.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
* Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
* At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting with relevant Cath Lab experience.
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded although not essential
* A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
