Your Role
As a Social Worker at Fairbridge College, you will be an integral part of our student support team, working closely with the wellbeing team to manage caseloads and provide comprehensive social and behavioural support services. Your focus will be on enhancing the well-being of our students through holistic solutions, advocacy, and coordination of services, ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed in their educational journey.
Responsibilities
* Develop strong, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families.
* Collaborate with wellbeing team, school staff, and external service providers to support student assessment and intervention.
* Provide case management and direct support to students through individual consultations and group sessions.
* Advocate for students\' needs and ensure they have access to necessary resources and support services.
* Assist in the development and implementation of intervention plans and contribute to the overall well-being of the school community.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in social work and inclusive education.
Qualifications
* National Police Clearance and Working with Children\'s Check are required, with current registration with AASW or eligibility for registration.
* Other qualifications or experience may be required as per Fairbridge College policy (as applicable).
