* Interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical specifications to determine system layouts and required materials.
* Installing and maintaining hot and cold water systems, as well as related equipment.
* Setting up water-based fire protection systems, such as hydrants, hose reels, and sprinklers.
* Designing, fitting, and maintaining sanitary plumbing, discharge pipes, and fixtures.
* Fabricating and assembling soil and waste stacks.
* Installing mechanical services plant, ventilation systems, and heating equipment.
* Setting up sewerage systems, effluent pumps, and disposal networks.
* Constructing and maintaining underground drainage systems and related groundworks.
* Installing gas appliances, flues, and pressure control devices.
* Fabricating, assembling, and installing metal roofing, guttering, downpipes, rainwater goods, and flashings.
Requirements
* Relevant trade qualifications and experience in plumbing or roof plumbing.
* Strong understanding of plumbing systems and metal roofing installation.
* Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
