Overview
We are looking for a skilled and commercially minded Contracts Manager to oversee the management of sales contracts across our organisation. Based at our Head Office in Scoresby, Vic, this role is critical in ensuring that all customer agreements are structured to support revenue goals, protect business interests, and foster strong client relationships. This pivotal role ensures that all contracts are strategically negotiated, accurately drafted, and effectively managed to support business objectives and mitigate risk.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of sales contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and renewing agreements with customers and partners.
- Collaborate closely with sales, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure contracts align with business objectives and comply with internal policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of contract documentation to support deal closure and revenue recognition.
- Identify and mitigate risks in sales agreements, including pricing, payment terms, service levels, and liability clauses.
- Maintain a centralized repository of sales contracts and track key terms, obligations, and renewal dates.
- Provide guidance and training to sales teams on contract processes, standard terms, and negotiation strategies.
- Support continuous improvement of contract templates, workflows, and approval processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CCCM or CPCM are beneficial.
- Knowledge of contract law and regulations.
- Experience in contract management, preferably in the construction or building industry.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commercial business acumen and judgment.
