Robert Half is partnering with a client exclusively seeking an Accounts Payable Officer for a 6-week temporary assignment to support thee finance team during a busy period.
This fast-paced role is ideal for someone with 2 years' experience in an OCR/Automated scanning environment and quick to adapt to new systems. The Ideal candidate will have solid AP experience who can hit the ground running perfect for a working holiday visa holder looking to gain experience in a dynamic business environment.
This role will be available to candidates who are immediately available and looking for work to carry them into 2026
The Role
As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Process and code supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
* Use OCR software to accurately capture and verify invoice data, ensuring efficient and error-free processing of accounts payable documents
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
* Prepare and process payment runs
* Assist with month-end close and reporting tasks
* Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team
Your Profile
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Confidence in handling Accounts Payable Duties
* Proficiency in any ERP System, Ideally Dynamics 365
* Proficiency/experience with OCR Scanning tools
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* The ability to consistently meet deadlines
* Comfortable working 5 days on-site
* The versatility to work independently and collaboratively
