About the Role
We are supporting a specialist renewable energy advisory and project delivery firm in the search for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and onshore wind farm projects across Australia.
This is a senior role focused squarely on the construction and delivery phase of projects. The successful candidate must have strong EPC, contractor management, and site delivery experience, with full accountability for safety, cost, schedule, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end construction delivery of utility-scale BESS and wind projects.
Manage EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and subcontractors through all delivery stages.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk registers, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental standards.
Act as the primary interface between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Lead commissioning, testing, and handover to achieve commercial operation.
About You
10+ years' experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy construction projects.
Proven experience in the delivery of utility-scale BESS and/or wind farm projects.
Strong EPC contract knowledge and commercial acumen.
Demonstrated experience managing site-based teams and contractors.
Proficiency in project controls, scheduling, and cost management.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
