Subject: Trade Assistant – Solar Farm (3-Month Contract)
We are currently recruiting for a Trade Assistant to support operations at an established solar farm on a 3-month contract.
Role Overview:
The Trade Assistant will provide day-to-day support to both Mechanical Technicians and Electricians on site. This role will involve assisting with maintenance, inspections, and general operational tasks across both mechanical and electrical systems within the solar farm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist technicians with planned and reactive maintenance
* Support electrical and mechanical works under supervision
* Carry out general site duties, including equipment handling and housekeeping
* Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and standards
Key Details:
* Contract Length: 3 months
* Location: Preference for local candidates
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, ideally within industrial, energy, or solar environments
* Ability to support both mechanical and electrical activities
* Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
* Relevant tickets/licences (e.g., White Card) preferred
