Health, Safety and Environmental Professional Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental professional to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Western Australia.
* This is an exciting opportunity to work on a nationally significant port infrastructure upgrade project.
* The role will involve overseeing health, safety and environmental compliance, conducting risk assessments, inspections, investigations and audits, as well as providing coaching to supervisors and subcontractors.
* You will be responsible for maintaining and reporting on safety KPIs and regulatory requirements, and supporting a proactive and engaged safety culture across site teams.
About the Project
The project involves the upgrade of a bulk materials handling facility near Dampier, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be working on a 20:8 FIFO roster with all flights, meals, and accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
* Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, investigations and audits.
* Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and subcontractors on health, safety and environmental best practices.
* Maintain and report on safety KPIs and regulatory requirements.
* Support a proactive and engaged safety culture across site teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Cert IV or Diploma in WHS or related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in HSE, preferably in construction and/or marine infrastructure.
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001 and environmental legislation.
* Experience with permit-to-work systems and safety reporting tools.
