Purpose
As
General Manager, you will oversee and manage all daily operations on property, guaranteeing its seamless and profitable function. This position requires a keen focus on every department, active involvement in operations and stakeholder management. Your leadership will shine through your actions as you guide, coach, and mentor your team, fostering a culture of unwavering excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage all facets of the property including revenue management, recruiting & training, customer service and achievement of financial targets
Lead and develop your team to ensure the hotel’s profitability and success
Drive changes and improvements in performance and implement strategies in line with business objectives
Create and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, guests and regional shared services
Maintain excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and balancing expenses
Recruit and develop a team engaged in driving positive customer sentiment
Act as a liaison within the local community, representing Accor and fostering community engagement
Skills & Experience
Demonstrate prior Operational, Hotel or General Manager experience and a deep understanding across a range of departments and stakeholder management
Create environments where your team are encouraged and motivated to be their true self each day
Display confidence in your ability to cultivate solid relationships, address challenging situations, and implement solutions that enhance service quality
Experience and capability to drive financial growth through skilful and thoughtful strategy
Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to drive top line revenue and motivate your team
Past experience working with body corporates in an MLR setting is desirable
Hold current Real Estate licence (Class 1) (advantageous, not crucial)
